Built with intention for someone who shows up with care and consistency.
Diane is one of the caring souls who helps watch over my dogs while I’m away on multi-day paramedic shifts. But this project wasn’t a gift—it was a commission. Diane had a vision: she wanted a piece that could elegantly present her own set of tasting glasses with room to breathe, pour, and celebrate.
Using four wine glasses and four shot glasses provided by Diane, I built the Celebration Station from a rich combination of maple, cherry, walnut, and padauk. It includes a carved space for a corkscrew or bottle opener and carries a functional, refined design—ready to be part of gatherings and quiet evenings alike.
Branded with “3 Dogs” and engraved with the date June 2025, it’s not only a finished piece—it’s a milestone in commissioned hospitality work at 3DW.
